ServerVault™ Security
For systems with the highest security requirements, the traditional model of facilities that are open to multiple customers, contractors and vendors as well as unscreened, uncertified electricians, drywall contractors, locksmiths and cleaning crews is obsolete. Every aspect and detail of every square inch of a data facility, from street to sensor to server, must be scrutinized and monitored with extraordinary discipline.
Rather than deploying individual, disparate, or point security solutions, ServerVault extends our integrated security architecture facility-wide and, by design, protects all of our hosted customer environments.
That’s why ServerVault is unique.
Every facet of ServerVault’s facilities has been designed with security and resilience as the prime factors. In fact, our physical security exceeds the Department of Defense standards for a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). As many third parties have validated, ServerVault™ provides the most extensive physical security available among commercial data centers. Access lists are highly restricted allowing only personnel whose duties require actual physical access to the vaults where customer equipment is housed.
Beyond the physical security, ServerVault executes on a Defense-in-Depth strategy that is designed to leverage our integrated and compliant operational activities for each of our hosted customers.
A summary of security-driven elements of ServerVault’s delivery is provided below:
